What services do you offer?
We specialize in new construction, home additions, and large-scale renovations. We welcome the chance to discuss any project, but we typically don’t take on standalone bathroom, kitchen, basement, or deck projects.
Do you have a minimum project cost?
We don’t have a hard project minimum and consider each custom home project opportunity individually. That said, our work is typically design-forward, and the majority of our projects have construction costs of $500K+.
Do you work on historic homes?
We frequently work on historic homes in urban and rural settings in Pittsburgh. From 100+ year old brick row homes to log cabins built in the 18th century, our team has renovated and restored several historic buildings.
What is your service area?
We proudly serve homeowners throughout the Greater Pittsburgh area and are willing to travel for the right project. The majority of our work is in Fox Chapel, Squirrel Hill, Shadyside, Sewickley, Point Breeze, and other historic neighborhoods in and around Pittsburgh.

What's your typical cutom home cost per square foot?
Every project is completely custom, so cost per square foot varies based on design, finishes, site conditions, and complexity. Most of our projects fall within the $400-$600+ per square foot range.
How long does a custom home build take?
The timeline for a custom new construction home depends heavily upon the home size, site conditions, and design complexity. On average, our custom homes take roughly 18-24 months to build.
How booked out are you?
We typically schedule new projects about one year in advance, depending on the size of the project. Don’t hesitate to reach out if you’d like to discuss your project timeline to see if we could be a fit.
What's the difference between a custom home addition and a large-scale renovation?
A custom home addition adds additional square footage to your home. This could be anywhere from a small bump-out addition to adding an entire second or third story. By contrast, a renovation works within the square footage of your existing home. During a renovation project, we remodel your home’s interior without adding any additional square footage to your home.
Do you perform any work in-house or do you subcontract everything?
We have a talented team of in-house carpenters that perform carpentry work on our projects. We also have a team of trusted subcontractors we rely on for other trades.
Do you offer design services too?
We don’t offer in-house custom home design services, but we partner with some of the best architects and designers in Pittsburgh and would be happy to refer you.
What permits are typically required?
The permit process depends on the township where your home is located. While the building permit process differs slightly by township, our team can coordinate the permit submission on your behalf and can file the appropriate documentation. All of our work is permitted and inspected.

Our office is located in Fox Chapel, PA, about 20 minutes outside of downtown Pittsburgh. Our shop is open by appointment only. Please contact us if you’d like to visit!
